Fieldfare Press founders Skye O’Neill and Mendy Waits met online on Instagram. But during the recent pandemic, they found themselves craving something more tactile, more authentic, and more real, and the idea of a journal that could feature new and emerging writers and photographers with a fresh perspective was born.

Each issue of the magazine features a mix of stories—photo essays, travel features, personal narratives, profiles of artists, gardeners and makers, and beautiful houses and buildings—all with a focus on the importance of place and community.
